Cheeky Twist Gifts – Terms of Service

1. About Us

Cheeky Twist Gifts is a family-run business based in Essex, UK, and is home to K Floss and Pop®.

We offer personalised gifts, engraving, edible cake decorations, candy floss and other food products, together with a range of novelty and gift items.

These Terms apply to purchases made through the Cheeky Twist Gifts website. Purchases made through third-party marketplaces may also be subject to that platform’s own terms and policies.

2. Ordering

By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. If we are unable to fulfil an order, we will contact you and provide an appropriate refund where payment has already been taken.

Prices are displayed in GBP. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown before you complete your purchase.

3. Product Information

We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions, photographs, dimensions and prices are accurate.

As many of our products are handmade, freshly prepared or personalised, minor variations in colour, positioning, appearance or finish may occur.

For personalised products, please check all names, dates, spellings and other information carefully before submitting your order. Products will be made using the information supplied by you.

4. Payment

Payment is required at checkout using the payment methods available on the website.

Prices and promotions on our own website may differ from those offered through third-party marketplaces.

5. Processing, Shipping & Delivery

Many of our products are made, personalised or prepared to order, so processing times vary by product.

Estimated processing and delivery information will be shown where applicable when ordering. Delivery dates are estimates rather than guarantees, and delays may occasionally occur outside our control.

Standard and faster delivery options may be available at checkout.

Unless another delivery period has been agreed with you, UK distance-selling rules generally require goods to be delivered within 30 days.

6. Returns, Cancellations & Refunds

Eligible non-personalised, non-perishable goods purchased online may normally be cancelled within 14 days of delivery, followed by a further 14 days in which to return them.

Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, and certain perishable products, are generally excluded from the normal change-of-mind cancellation right.

This does not affect your legal rights where an item is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise fails to meet the standards required by law.

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us as soon as possible. For damage in transit, photographs of the item and packaging are very helpful.

7. Food Products

Our K Floss and Pop® food products are prepared and packaged with care.

Ingredients, allergen information and storage instructions are supplied where applicable. Customers are responsible for checking this information before consuming a product.

If you have an allergy or dietary concern, please contact us before ordering if you require further information.

8. Personalised & Custom Products

Personalised and custom-made items are produced according to the information supplied when ordering.

If we reproduce the details you supplied correctly, we cannot normally accept a change-of-mind return because of an error in the personalisation information supplied by you.

If we make an error, or the product is faulty, damaged or not as described, please contact us and we will put things right in accordance with your statutory rights.

9. Events & Bespoke Bookings

Where we accept event or bespoke service bookings, the price, deposit, payment schedule and cancellation arrangements will be provided before the booking is confirmed.

Any amount retained following cancellation will be dealt with fairly and in accordance with the terms agreed for that booking and applicable consumer law.

This is safer than saying every deposit is automatically non-refundable, because terms allowing businesses to retain disproportionate prepayments can be considered unfair.

10. Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, original artwork and designs created by us are owned by Cheeky Twist Gifts or K Floss and Pop®, unless otherwise stated.

Other trademarks, images, designs or intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners and may be used by us under licence or other permitted arrangements.

Content belonging to us may not be copied, reproduced or commercially used without permission.

11. Liability & Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any legal rights that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control where the law allows this limitation.

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, the UK GDPR and applicable UK data-protection legislation.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Any revised Terms will apply to future purchases from the date they are published and will not retrospectively change the terms that applied to an order already placed.
